Which Is Your Favorite SNG Poker Site?

An opportunity here to help out other members of the forum.... not looking for one-word answers but instead a reasoned debate on your favorite SNG Poker sites - and more importantly the reasons why!

My personal top 3 are:

Full Tilt: Great selection and software, including my current faves - the 90 man Knockout SNGs, really like the smaller blind increases at this site compared to some others

Titan Poker: This is no longer US-friendly but does feature some of the fishiest opponents you will see online!

Poker Stars: The biggest and best poker site and my first choice during the time of life when I had the time to grind those SNGs 12 tables at a time...

Stars. I the software and support at the site, and it has by far the most volume. Also I'm used to the structure.

I have been playing around UB and Party recently and found them pretty soft.

I'd like to play more on Full Tilt but I can't get rakeback on my account.

I LIKE THE SNGs AT FULLTILT BECAUSE 1) IT IS EASY TO CHECK HAND HISTORIES QUICKLY TO HELP YOU MAKE TOUGH DECISIONS AGAINST AN OPPONENT WHEN YOU HAVE NOT PAID ENOUGH ATTENTION (DUE TO 5 OR 6 TABLING LOL) AND 2) IT IS EASY TO MANIPULATE BLIND STALLS IN THE TURBOS SO YOU END UP POSTING SB RIGHT BEFORE THE BLINDS ARE DUE TO GO UP (WAY +EV IN TURBOS).

Interesting point with the blind stalls JD - something I do regularly in Satellites (especially the Turbo Sats) but rarely in SNGs... maybe you would be good enough to share your ideas for this with the other members here in a new thread?? (would certainly see this generating a good debate!!)

Cheers for the input there too Fool - interesting psychology behind it, if RB were suddenyl available at Stars and you did not qualify for this due to having an older account would it also put you off playing there???

Fair question. I've tried a handful of SNGs on Full Tilt and not had much success there. I'm pretty sure it comes down to just finding out a few subtle differances between the structures and players on the two sites. If I was to get some kind of rakeback that may be the incentive I would need to find the changes I need to make and play there more.

As it is I'm not getting RB on most of my main sites, so I may as well play where I feel most comfortable, which is Stars.

At least living in the UK it's thankfully pretty easy to move money between sites when I ever want to play there, usually in MTTs.

I had play on Stars a lot cause the trafic ,soft and support. Due to plenty of regulars I moved to party cause the estructure of sng is more interesting and less regs ( I play regulars , not turbo) . I decided to left 14 tabling on stars and play bigger levels on party 5 tabling .
I had play on titan , cdpoker , tower , UB and another ones . Nothing to say , no traffic , bad soft for multitable and very bad support .

Some further good points, the structure you are used to counts for a lot IMO...

Hi mark
Right now , im playing regulars , 55s not more than 5 tabling . This situation is because im not very sure if the thing im doing are fine .
The aim : to add more tables ,some difficult in party , or take a shoot at turbos . Need to increase my winrate in some way .

Well my favorite poker site is Bodog Poker, almost everything about the site I love. The SNG's are what you expect - it's easy to find a table and have the option to play 6 player SNG.

I've got a far better record on SnG's with a count of dealt hands blind levels rather than timed.

Only playing micro stakes, $5 or $10, short handed on Ladbrokes.

Problem is they seem to take an age to fill up, are there any sites with counted blind levels where they are popular enough not to take 10/20 minutes to fill?

Can't buy a win on Full Tilt or on Party, no idea why, but i've always got a +ve expectiation on Betfair and Ladbrokes.
