| I have been playing in a lot of the .10 tournaments and 10fpp tourneys on PS. These are turbo tournaments and I was wondering if you guys had any good advice on how to play these. I seem to be able to make the money in them about half the time but would love any tips to help me do better in these. |

| I can't say I have played any tourneys that small but I have played turbo's an I jsut don't like them. I prefer a long drawn out tourney structure. Honestly turbos are way more luck than a normal tourney so I could say "double up eary" or something of that nature but in all honesty there is so much luck in a turbo you just need cards! SOmeone else might be able to elaborate better than me but I am not a fan of turbos MTT's. |

![]() | Guess the old advice of bluff less and bet for value with weaker hands than in the bigger buy-in events would apply here. Passive play is not usually advised in any form of poker - however in the early stages of a freeroll where raises will be called in so many places, it can be worth limping behind with hands such as suited connectors, small pairs and suited aces which have the ability to turn into monsters. Play very aggressively on the bubble too... many opponents in these kind of things will tighten up considerably trying to make the money - if for every time you bust on the bubble you double your stack another time (and have a shot at the bigger payouts) then your profits over time will improve. Looking forward to seeing some more advice on this one... if we can not help a guy win at the 10c level then we should not call ourselves a strategy forum!! Cheers, Mark |

![]() | Cool, congrats on the win. Believe it or not, they play just as bad in other small tournaments also up to about $5 I'm guessing. I can't imagine much difference in the quality of players, but others could probably better quantify that than me. Jason

| Good job 360 person tourny is hard to win at any level. Try the 1$ sng if you want to try building a bankroll now. It is doable to build a bankroll from this amount everytime I go broke (twice a year on average) I only start off with 10$ deposit from a friend. This usually works.
