![]() | Has anyone tried the new Double or Nothing Sit and Go's at PokerStars ?? Just curious what everyone thinks of them. I haven't played one yet, but it seems like a good deal if you are a decent player, kind of hedge your bet's against the luck factor. Jason

| I played about 30 last month as I figured they would be easy bankroll builders, but I just found them really boring. You have to play ultra tight with a satalite approach to get anywhere. Guess they would be ok to grind out, and have a good advantage over normal sngs if you multitable a lot of tables as you will always have 6+ players at the table. Also I have only just signed up to stars and am still chasing my deposit bonus and these DoNs give much lower fpp's than other games. |

| Played a lot of these a little while back, but found they were a little dull and as soon as you reach the final 5 its like 'Thanks, you have won'. Not overly exciting. Buuuurrrrrrt..... What they are GREAT for is training for bubble play. As you are pretty much on the bubble all the way through the game, everyone tightens up like mad and I found my performance on the bubble in bigger tournaments was a hell of a lot better as a result. Its much in the way that single table SNGs are great for final table practice, I would heartily recommend Double-or-Nothing for bubble practice. On the subject of SNGs on Pokerstars, I saw a few of the top pro's were on the low-buy in ($10) badugi SNGs that they have just launched. Presumably to get practice for the game (which is building up popularity it seems). Worth a spin - I really like the game and (luckily) most people are still learning it, so there is money to be made |

| Im trying DON cause I had a very bad run at 6 max . I need to recover my confidence so Im playing DONs . They have a good points , very low variance and pay less fee. Although is still hard to get money . I played 500 last month with about 1600 usd profit ( 104 buy-in) . I played in diferent way Im playing now . This month Im about 1500 USD (52 and 104) in 300 tnyes. Bad part : if you are not a multitabler , it takes a lot of time , I play about 8 hours at day , 6 tabling . They are very very boring , so be ready. You will find less clue that in sng normal . For example , when short is blinded out , people bet the flop with 2 pair . Or worse , big stack fold 1/2 blind to shorty . I will play the whole month to see a decent amount , I will let you know my thoughts , If you want MrTynKyn |

| Stars has these? Are they the same as played at Cake where 5 of 10 double their buy-in? If so - I played a bunch at Cake at a 85% ROI :) It's great if it draws action players who still don't get the point of survival in sit and go's. ![]() |

| Just a "bunch" <50 :) I'm not claiming it sustainable lol. I play $5 - $50 sngs, only randomly play at Cake though I should try these at Stars. |

| I've played in one of them and it was terribly boring and seeing as how it was the only table that I was playing I forced the action and busted out. Hadn't played one since. I hadn't ever looked at them as a great way to train for the bubble of a tourney but I guess that it can relate.
