| Ahaha. What a baby, you're right. The way I understand it talking is part of bluffing which is a key part of poker and Hellmuth clearly doesn't have the mental fortitude to deal with it. He could've been gracious or at least polite but instead he had to blow up like that. |

![]() | Yeah, Helmuth is a real piece of work. He does make for entertaining television Phil is a very good tournament player, but lets just say live action players are happy to see him sit down at their table. Phil is definitely prone to tilting off his money and is definitely an action players dream. Jason

| Yep, if nothing else then Hellmuth is at least an entertaining guy to watch. Personally I'd love to have a person like him at my table because it would be so easy to manipulate him into getting angry and losing his concentration. Also, how embarassing for him that he blows up like that and has it broadcast all over the world through television and internet. |

| Oh for sure. I wonder what goes through his head when he blows up like that. Does he not consider how it looks for all the other people and damages his reputation? It's kind of scary to think that it's not an act at all and that's really how he actually is! |

| When doesn't Phil blow up is my question? lol <----That would be him, ALL the TIME! I agree with you on the fact it would be interesting to have him at the table, although he just annoys me way too much I'd probably get in trouble. He'd start his ranting and then I'd get on him about it and we'd both just rant and blow up at each other. Now THAT would make for good entertainment!!! |

![]() If I'd be at your table and know that you're trying to make me lose concentration, I'd do my best to pretend to make you THINK it's working but then I'd GETCHA! But now that I told you that, I'll be sure to never join one of your tables online! | |

| They knew how to get Phil all riled up. They were egging him on and kept pushing him and pushing him. For NBC's Poker After Dark that is some entertaining poker to watch. Poor Annie Duke is sitting there all quiet. |

| I personally watched Hellmuth play for several hours one day in real life. I do have to admit he was one of the nicest guys at the table as long as the cameras were not on him. During one of the breaks he came over and was signing autographs and could not have been a nicer guy. Most of the hype is from the media; him playing for hours and them showing the 1 blow up. I personally would blow up from several things i saw when i was watching him. People were calling his raises and reraising him with complete garbage atleast every 15 minutes or so to just try to set him off.
