I like the way he brings up how to lose properly as a method of money management. I think having a cool-headed approach can be key to ending up winning a game.

Very good point you picked up on.

I don't care who you are or how great of player you are, you are going to lose sometimes. Knowing when to quit, and not going on tilt and giving your money away is a huge part of the game.

That's very true and, I think, a large part of the game that many hot-headed players will neglect. The best players I've ever seen are the ones who are able to look at the entire game on the bigger level and see past losing and winnings hands in order to look at the final product of managing their money in order to get a win.

I forgot to mention, Johnny Chan has his own poker site: Chan Poker

Chan Poker treats their players great, and offers some excellent promotions and bonuses. If you are a non-US player I highly recommend checking them out.

I just started perusing his website and since I'm Canadian it's great to see a non-American centered site to play on. I'll post some more impressions after spending a bit more time there and getting a better feel for it.

I like money management in gambling as a whole is important. If you are on a losing streak and you continue pumping more money to try and get back what you lost, you're going to run into trouble. Knowing when to stop, cut your losses, regrouping, and coming back at a later time or date when you're ready is important.
