| Tony G flops a Royal Flush vs Patrik Antonius and John Juanda, but unfortunately things don't go exactly how you would want them to when you flop the ROYAL NUTS... |

![]() | Thats the problem when you flop a Royal, theres rarely anthing left that players can call with. All the high diamonds are in your hand, so even guys with an ace or KQ having a pair and a straight draw are going to be gunshy. I actually think the best play in this situation is to bet out, especially for Tony G. He has a reputation (rightly so) of being an action maniac. If he makes a smallish bet, Antonio or Juanda may call or may try to push him off the pot. If he bets out and they fold, he still wins the same amount as how the hand turned out . I've found that to be the case more times than not.Jason

| I am not a big fan of flopping a royal.. Yea it feels nice but I may have hit like 5 of them in my life and not once got paid off on it.

| yeah that 9d killed his action. If there weren't 4 diamonds on the board Juanda calls or possibly raises that river.
