| I can't believe Jack Effel made the same ruling as the initial floorperson. That kind of motion has to be considered a bet, whether it was 'released' or not. Ridiculous imo. Felt bad for Losev, they were saying he speak much english, and later on there was an incident with him speaking Russian (?) at the table ... |

| It worked for me but the video ended before the floor made his call. If he ruled that he was not obligated to keep those chips in the center then that was an awful call. The player is obligated to keep those chips in the center. Any other call is awful.

| | I saw this play live on TV the other night. Jack made the wrong ruling and Losev lost only his string bet. I still don't understand how thats possible because Michael Carrol made a great polarizing example of how if you move your entire stack to the middle, but pull it back and just drop a chip, it's legal? | | This year was particularly bad; Scotty should have been penalized for his behavior at the final table and Phil Hellmuth was penalized at the end of the day for calling that guy an idiot numerous times. Phil went to the Tournament Director and whined enough that the penalty was overturned. Phil’s case was; I acted the way TV expects me to act! The difference between a dog and a poker player is; in 20 years or so the dog stops whining! |

| Yeah Phil is ridiculous. During the $2,000 event in 07 Phil was at the next table over. He stood up and was yelling at this guy, calling him an idiot, a donkey, and stupid and wouldn't shut up. Finally the guy calls the floor. Two floor guys wander over and are laughing at Phil. Not saying anything to him but they were laughing like the guy who called the floor was crazy to call the floor on Phil Hellmuth. It was stupid. After about 2 or 3 more minutes one of the floor guys finally asked Phil to calm down but the entire poker tent had to listen to him piss and moan for like 15 minutes. I thought they handled the situation awfully.
