Sick Beat (US Economy sucks)
I just checked my brokerage account. I decided to get all responsible and open a Roth IRA in 2006 for 4k. Guess how much it's worth now after 2 years? $3966! Mind you this is all in an index fund that follows the S&P 500, so it's low volatility compared to individual stock investing. Wow, that's awesome. Guess I should have put it in a savings account, or maybe just socked it away under the mattress. This economy sucks, gas is $4 a gallon, housing prices are in the toilet, and I need a new roof  .At least I'm making some money on the poker sites. |

It is funny driving through town right now I can tell the difference from a year ago. I compare it to some of the movies where they show poverty. More yard sales going on. More people having cars and houses for sale and no one buying at all. Just weird how the economy can change so much. Crime has also been up in my areas as well. It all goes back to when the economy is good, life is good.
