Question about being contagious
So I am sick. I don't think I quite have strep throat but it is really close. I did not go to work today and assume I am not going tomorrow. My question is am I going to make my baby sick? I know this sounds like a stupid thing to say but here is the catch. On Tuesday we brought him to the doctor and found that he has an ear infection so he is on amoxacillin. Will this keep him from catching what I have considering he is already on antibiotics? Should I take his leftover ceflex that he was given when his chest wound was healing? As long as the sickness keeps me from going to work then I am going to milk it but if I am risking making my baby sick then I will go to the doc. Do you think the amoxacillin is going to keep him healthy? Just a few questions. Thank you.

To be honest, the last place I'd be looking for advice with regards to the health of myself or my baby would be on a poker forum or even a health related forum for that matter...Unless it's advice like... Best bet would be to go see a doctor ;-) |

Well, get better soon and hopefully you don't pass it on to your baby. I recall seeing someone else ask for advice about something health related on another poker forum and everyone starting offering up different types of prescription medication and other types of drugs for them to take and that's where asking for advice could go very wrong if certain drugs are taken or mixed with others. |
