One thing for sure is that a septic joint is an emergency so if it's swollen, hot, and very painful +/- fever you need to get it looked at pronto, otherwise no rush.

Yeah just swollen, no pain, no fever. The way it looks you would think it hurt a ton. Really really wierd.

Random ankle update.

I am on my lunch break and decided to take my sock off and show my co-worker. It is really really swollen and has dark red "bruising" all over it. I think I am going to the doctor after work today. The wierd part is that I have no problem walking on it and virtually no pain.

Just a random update on powdas foot.

If you don't remember injuring it perhaps sitting down playing GTA for long periods cut off circulation and a blood clot formed. Definitely a trip to the hospital is in order.

Looks like you hit it on something. I used to get these "mystery injuries" a lot in college. Usually bourbon was involved. Can't hurt to get it checked out but looks like you hit it on something.

BTW: No recent camping/hiking/hanging out in wooded areas, right?
