| So I don't think there have been any similar threads like this here yet but basically I was wondering what everyones hobbies are besides poker. I used to race R/C cars but now just play with them for fun. I also play a bit of Xbox, mostly on xbox live. I also dabble in backgammon and I am trying to get my girlfriends grandma to teach me bridge ![]() Gin Rummy is one of my favorite games but I honestly have almost forgotten the rules as there is nobody to play with. So what does everyone else do with their free time besides play poker?

| I just got into Skiiing a lot about 3 years ago, I picked it up pretty quick and enjoyed it. This is going to sound weird but I hate going to bars but love shooting pool too. Fine dining is another one latly I just love to eat out at expensive restaurants. Nothing better than a good meal by a nice place.

| You brought up a few for me kick. I actually used to compete on skis (racing: giant slalom, slalom and super g). I like going out the bars, awful crappy dive bars, but am not a huge fan of clubs. Sushi. Oh god sushi. I actually had sushi yesterday. OMFG it was good.

| I play guitar, play/watch various sports, shoot pool, go out for dinner and/or drinks, movies, beach, camping, and there's probably a few things I'm forgetting right now I'm sure. |

![]() | This sounds cool, I could see myself getting into this when my boys get a little older. Quote:
Shooting Pool: I seriously doubt any of you could beat me at pool (Brag) . I really love to play pool, although I dont' play much anymore. I basically put myself through college shooting pool. I went to a pretty good size University (20k students) and the closest player to me I could spot the 7 and the breaks in 9 ball.Fine Dining: One of my current favorites and thus my girly petite figure . Las Vegas is truly unbelievable in the amount of super high quality restaurants and world famous chefs. I've eaten at several great restaurants and still have a lot more to try out. My current all time winner is Joel Robuchon at the MGM Grand, I took my wife there last October for our 5th Wedding Anniversary and we did the 16 course tasting menu, it was a truly phenomenal experience.Quote:

Kind of funny all the similarites in the stuff we like to do in our spare time. My current favorite hobby is Scuba Diving. I've been certified for almost 20 years, but just recently got back into the sport. I went to Roatan, Honduras there last year for a month and dove almost every day it was really sweet. I'm thinking about getting a vacation house there. Jason

![]() | Scuba diving is a really cool activity. It's low impact but still burns a lot more calories than you would imagine and there is all kinds of really cool stuff under the oceans surface. I'm going to get into spear fishing, I'm hooked on this new show called "Ocean Hunter" it's on ESPN2, it's bad ass these dudes are spearfishing big tuna and grouper up to 50 pounds or so. Jason

| Karma scuba diving sounds cool. I hope to be able to go some day. I also think I ate at that MGM place you were talking about. All I know is that it was super fancy, I had like 3 canaries in my poacket and just cashed in a $500 chip, and the dude put my napkin in my lap for me and I bought like a $40 steak. I don't know if this is the place you are talking aobut but it was damn good. Also I am holding you to the sushi thing when I am in town!
