Favorite poker on tv?
Just what the title says. What is your favorite poker to watch on TV? I really don't watch much poker on TV at all but when I do High Stakes Poker is the best by a mile. Watching a real cash game that big is just awesome. My second favorite is the WSOP but HSP is simply the best poker on TV in my opinion. So what is your favorite poker show? Also everyone should check out pokerdawgs posts in the videos sections. I think he has posted every episode of High Stakes Poker there and I must admit I have been watching a lot of those episodes. High Stakes Poker on GSN (Game Show Network) for me is the hands down winner and basically the only poker show I watch on TV. I'd probably watch more, but I'm always so busy. High Stakes Poker is the real deal. Jason

High Stakes Poker by a mile. Although I do like to watch WSOP of course. I also watch other poker shows if I have nothing to do and I just want to sit back and relax. I'm glad you like the HSP videos I posted. It is every episode from High Stakes Poker Season 1, High Stakes Poker Season 2, High Stakes Poker Season 3 and I'll start adding season 4 episodes in the next day or so. |

I like High Stakes Poker the most too. I don't watch too many games but the clips on here have made it so that when I'm channel surfing HSP always catches my eye. |

I agree with everyone on high stakes poker. The poker at such high stakes is incredible. Plus, even Gabe Kaplan makes it even more enjoyable with his commentary. Excellent excellent poker show! |

HSP is a clear favorite. The show is pretty unique in that it focuses almost as much on the table banter as the action. They keep all the mics live for the most part so you hear almost everything said at the table. ESPN does a good job with the WSOP coverage. I really hate watching WPT events for a number of reasons: 1.) Vince Van Patten's commentary sucks and he spoils whatever analysis Sexton makes. 2.) The blind structure is so stupid in these events that the final table is like a $3 turbo SNG on Full Tilt. The stacks are so short that no one has any room to play thoughtful, deep stack poker like on HSP. 3.) Vince Van Patten |

I may be in the majority but I enjoyed the U.S. Poker championships. I like how they showed the whole tournament. Most of the tournament was filmed throughout the poker room not a stage set up. The play was usually pretty bad due to a lot of amateurs. Added bonus was I recognized most of those bad players since I am a regular in Atlantic City.
