Blackjack!

Blackjack is one of my favorite games. It's pretty addicting, too. There's a cool site called Play Games, Free Online Games at AddictingGames and they have a blackjack game there as well. I play it all the time. I should probably stop.

Love the game, but it's difficult to get on a good streak in blackjack, unlike roulette and baccarat. I do (usually) make money when I play, but I have to attribute that to dicipline, proper betting, and setting appropriate loss limits. Playing proper (not basic) strategy is paramount to coming out ahead. Most people don't gamble to win. They gamble for other reasons...

I play it from time to time for free online but honestly I am not very good at it. That is probably why I don't play it all that much. Now my hubby is pretty good at it and loves playing it at the casino's.

I love playing blackjack. I have Hoyle Casino 2006 that I play blackjack on. It is very addicting once you get started playing.

Yeah great game i play too, i couldnt put it down when i first stumbled across it!

I love playing blackjack but I am not very good at it. When I want to play for lots of real money I'll stick to poker...but if I have a few bucks to spare when I'm at the casino I usually find myself drifting over to the blackjack table. The game fascinates me for some reason and I wish I could be better at it.

I don't play any table games. The last time I played blackjack was about 5 years ago, some buddies came to Vegas and wanted to go drinking and play some blackjack, I said sounds like a good way to lose some money, oh no, we will only play for $5 or $10 a hand. Needless to say I lost like $2300

The best way to keep you money is by sticking to poker, and avoiding the pit games.

I like BJ but it isn't a game of skill like poker more of a game of luck and the luck is always bends towards the dealer.

Have to partially disagree here. There are some definite skills you can learn to improve your blackjack game. There is a basic strategy that you should never deviate from. You could also throw in some progressive betting, and lastly if you are skilled enough you can keep track of the deck counts.

There is a new movie out called "21" about a BlackJack counting team from MIT, I've uploaded the trailer here:

But don't catch the next plane to Vegas, thinking you can use the system. It's actually pretty complicated.
