Hey, I miss the poetics shining through the game rules -

How is gavin Griffin a bad pick? He has won a wpt, Ept, and wsop event. He is young cares about tourny play. He is ranked in the top 5 of cardplayer of the year race. This pick is a steal

I was doing that more to tease you, but thinking Phil Ivey is a bad pick and Gavin Griffin is a good pick?

I gurantee Ivey will cash in a tournament. The only problem is he might onlly play 3 tournies the whole series.

GoodKarmaKid picks: Men the Master

I don't necessarily think Men will win any tournaments but I think he will cash and he plays almost all of the tournaments, so should be a good pick.

He also puts a lot of people into tournaments and has for several years and it's widely believed that they dump chips when they have the opportunity. Certainly not cool, but does increase his chances.

I think all of the picks mad so far are solid, except probably Vicky Coren by CptnMik, actually I've never heard of her, I'm not saying she can't play or won't cash, but she could have been your sleeper pick because I doubt anyone would have picked her until later.

I believe Sjclar00 is on the clock

What kind of odds are you giving on him cashing if he only plays 3 events?? I might take that action

Men The Master Nguyen is a good pick and I had him on my list. Yet another pick that I have to scratch off the list.

Karma what is the good word on Gavin Griffen among the pros? Is he on the run of his life or can he really play?

Ted Forrest was on my short list. Nice pick. I'm not so sure about Joe Hachem (since trash talking was mandatory by the original rules). The times I've seen him on TV he seems to be somewhat of a blowup artist.

I'll take Brandon Cantu. He seems to be running well this year and I expect he will play a lot of tournaments like the young players seem to do. I really didn't know much about him until recently but i think he has potential this year.

BTW... How many people are we each picking?
