Ivey usually only plays like 3 or 4 events. Yes I believe he is the best player in the world but I would rather have a tournament specialist who will try to play a lot of events. Ivey for smaller events does not care because the money is not good enough for him. So in a system that rewards cashing why take someone who only plays a few events and truly does not want to be there in the events he is there for unless he is deep in the tourny.
