| What do you do on the river here? Play it any differently on other streets? The BB has just been moved to the table recently, haven't seen him get involved in any big hands. Has taken down a couple of hands after opening, thats all. The Button got lucky AJ v AK v AT earlier to amass a big stack. Has been very active, but hasn't shown down very many hands, when he has, he has had the goods. | Hey never_race. On such a draw heavy board I would fold this on the turn(possibly pre flop). You are behind hands that the button can have like AT, A7 and dead to hands like 89s, 77 or KQ. After BB calls as well I would check/fold river. 2 players have shown strength and you only really beat hands like 76, TJ or A9 etc which I dont think are betting the river on this board. pot odds 21k to win 81.6k =20% to break even from stove (feel free to tell me if you want me to change the ranges, as this is part of game I am working on, and you could well have a better set of ranges) Board: Ac Th Js 7s 6d Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 01.869% 01.87% 00.00% 12 0.00 { Ah6s } Hand 1: 65.888% 61.21% 04.67% 393 30.00 { 77, ATs-A9s, A7s, KQs, JTs, 98s, ATo, KQo } Hand 2: 32.243% 27.57% 04.67% 177 30.00 { 77, ATs-A9s, A7s-A6s, KQs, JTs, 98s, ATo } but this makes it a clear fold. you have 24bb pre flop, which isn't massive but is safe, so look for a better spot and hope you made a good payout!! |

| | I think I probably would have folded the turn in this spot, the lack of action on the flop smells funny to me, when your hand improves ont he river you are in a tough pickle overcalling. Theres two straights, that beat you, 3 two pair hands that beat you not to mention if someone flopped a set and was slow playing. Unless your read is great, I think you have to fold on the river and save the chips for a better spot. It wouldn't surprise me at all if one of the players flopped the nut-straight. Jason

| Being mid-stack, I would fold this hand pre-flop, thinking what do I hope to accomplish with A6o OOP if the flop hits me less than hard? And we all know the odds of hitting a flop hard. I wait for a better spot to put chips in the pot; patience IS a virtue...
