![]() | Just a bit of fun... a big pot in a Limit Stud/8-or-better game (actually HORSE). I'd love to take the credit but this was Erika's hand (the better half often enjoys both cash games and SNGS and can shout 'SHIP IT!!' with the best of them (can be expensive at times but thats another story)) ok - on with the hand.... we have been playing aggressively (it was the whiskey!) for a couple of orbits before this came up. | You posted the question Mark and I for one do dump this on 3rd but when you catch that beautiful king on 4th you can't go anywhere. 5th is even better! All I can say is nice catch but I usually muck on 3rd. 5th and 6th streets were awesome for you! I never get paid off like that! Nice pot! |

| Any Chance to set up a small buy in private horse tourny? I would like to learn more about the other games and have only played a small amount of them.

I would suggest just sitting at a low buy-in stud, or omaha game and playing for an hour or two. Get an idea of how the games play, and then if you have questions you can ask and if you see posts like this one you will have a better idea of how the game is played and can learn from the post. I basically would not suggest hopping in a HORSE game but if you want to play Razz, Stud, and Stud Hi/Lo you need to start by getting the Stud strategy down and branch to the other games. As far as Omaha the transistion is a little easier because you are used to flop style games but don't think Omaha plays like hold em! Just my 2 cents. | |

| I second the private HORSE tournament idea. I will do poorly but I will definitely have fun! |
