| Auto Shove for me considering the size of the blinds to Stack size ratio. Personally if this was my home game i would set it up a little deeper stacks to get more play out of this.

If he gives you a free turn I probobly push unless it is an A or K. He is tight/passive and can have something big like AA or KK and if that is the case he probobly bets the flop. AK and AQ are possible as well. I think if the turn bricks you can bet and obv all-in is your only move. It isn't pretty but I don't like jamming the flop as if we bet we have to jam and if we c/r we are jamming but with a little more in the pot. I think with the J being exposed that creates a situation where we want to get our money all-in, hence the c/r to get a little more in the pot. <-- at work trying to work and type at same time, I hope my reply makes sense.

| I don't know if this villain thinks about pot odds but I thought that if he has a hand like AhKh or AhQh I wanted to make it as expenive as I could, considering my remaining chipstack, for him to draw out. This villain is tight enought that after the J was exposed I think he would have folded any Jx pre with the possible exception of JJ. When I saw the flop I tried to decide if this villain was so tricky/passive that he would not re-raise pre with AA through QQ. I decided he surely was not. I then thought about c/r because I did pretty much decide that I wanted to get it all in but then if he was holding Axh it would be more proper for him to call after my c/r because of the new pot odds. However, c/r would show more strength than the shove. He is kinda weak so he may have folded to the c/r. The shove could be interpreted as "Please don't call me!" I then decided that the shove would be interpreted as weakness and I hoped for the call because I ended up concluding that I was good. Well, I shoved and he went into the tank for about 2 solid minutes. He finally called and turned over KK. I asked him why it took him so long to call and he said, "I thought for sure you had the last J." |

![]() | Hey Whicker Nice to have another Quality member, Welcome aboard. I agree with pretty much your whole thought process here. I would autoshove on that flop, especially with the jack being exposed. With your relatively small stack, the chips in the pot are golden and any additional chips you may win by check/raising aren't worth the added risk in my opinion. Whose the bonehead who played the Kings like that and then almost folded. Buy him a ticket to Vegas for me .Jason
