Troubled Poker Player Brandi Hawbaker Commits Suicide at Age 26.
In a story that has been confirmed by several top poker media websites, troubled poker player Brandi Hawbaker has apparently committed suicide, ending her young life at just 26 years of age. This is a sad ending to a young life regardless of what has happened in the past and what people thought of her. I feel bad for her family and friends.  |

It's been interesting to see the different reactions to this around the poker community. There has been a lot of people that have continued the trash talk of Brandi. They are free to do so, but I don't see what point it serves at this point. I don't see what point it served before either. You'd think after something like this, people could just take a step back and maybe find some other things to focus on instead of continue to trash talk. |
