Poker Pro Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh's Playboy Debut Is On FIRE

Playboy's latest centerfold, poker pro Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh, is a self-proclaimed internet geek. But this skilled poker chick's main intention in posing for Playboy was to spread the word about poker, especially to women, and to show that you can be a woman and kick ass in poker.

Her Playboy spread finally debuted this week and has received much positive feedback from the general public and the poker community as well. The former World of Warcraft internet nerd has made quite the name for herself, and she is now the first poker player to be featured in the famed publication.

I also received a message from Jennicide herself commending the positive article my wife wrote about her on my site. I was very happy to know people like the community here at PSF and other poker pros are checking out the site.

Jenn is not only hot on the poker tables, she's hot hot hot. That Playboy issue is going to be in the hands of many. It will bring more exposure to poker and perhaps it'll bring some playboy bunnies into the poker community as well ;-)

I have seen the playboy pics and she looks amazing ;-)

Sure they did some airbrushing, but Jenn looks stunning. I think this will be good for poker and may bring more people into the game - even women.

I think Playboy airbrushes absolutely everything! This is definitely a good move for her own career but I wonder what kind of affect this will have on the common view of women in poker? Will more people start to think that only beautiful women can make a name in professional poker?

I think with it being a male dominated game it doesn't hurt for women to get more exposure even if it's in Playboy. I think the fact that it is a male dominated game is the reason Playboy decided to do the photo shoot because it would be profitable for them since every poker site would be promoting it for them for free. That Hugh Hefner is one smart cookie.

Jennicide in playboy was one of the best things poker could ask for with a lull after all the publicity when Moneymaker won the WSOP ME off a $40 satellite.

I don't think that will be the perception of women of today. They would be more impressed and Jennicide would serve as their inspiration to be knowledgeable on the game of poker.

I disagree with most of you here. Do not get me wrong I find Jennicide very attractive, But this goes along with the negative stigma attached with poker. If you want woman in poker to make a name for themselves win a big tournament do not go and pose nude for a magazine. Just gives the anti-poker goverment another reason to look at the poker communtiy with a bad taste.
