Online Poker Scandal Exposed on CBS' "60 Minutes" This Past Sunday.
This past Sunday, the AP/UB scandal that rocked the online poker community just over a year ago was finally being exposed thanks to a controversial piece that was being aired by CBS producers on the popular television show "60 Minutes." The 60 Minutes story was garbage. They got a lot of information wrong and painted online poker in a very bad light. I'm starting to think that mainstream news organizations aren't ever going to tell the story right.

Yeah nothing I didn't already know on 60 minutes. Still interesting to see online poker on primetime! Funny this all happened like a year ago!

Many news programs/papers seem to show online poker sites in a bad light when really there are a huge number of legit sites that can really win you some money. Obviously there are some dodgy ones out there but they are exceptions from the norm. |
