| I have been wondering how some of these online poker places can still be allowing US to gamble. Didn't a new law go through that made online gambling illegal in the US? |

| They passed the UIGEA back in 2006, but Congress has yet to find a true way to enforce it. For the most part, a lot of the bigger sites just jumped ship once they found out the U.S. was trying to ban online gambling - and figured it was just best to bail instead of staying the course like PokerStars and Full Tilt. Until they figure out initiatives and other ways to actually enforce the bill, I don't see anything coming of it for awhile. The only thing the gov't has done thus far is forbidden banks and credit card companies to fund online poker accounts - and those who violate that will face stiff financial penalties and whatnot....but that's the real major extent of it.

| Yeah it is not illegal for us to play, it is illegal for our banks to do buisness with the online sites. All we have to do is find a loophole to deposit and withdraw through (there are many sites that work fine) and we can play for money. |
