We could do a scoring system.

5 Points-Cashing in an event
10 Points-Placing 10th-20th
20 Points-9th Place
22 Points-8th Place
24 Points-7th Place
26 Points-6th Place
28 Points-5th Place
30 Points-4th Place
35 Points-3rd Place
40 Points-2nd Place
50 Points-Bringing Home the Bracelet

I would like to get 7-10 people in on this.
Drafting 8 players sounds fair.
So first 10 to personal message me will be in, if I do not get 10 people then we will do it as long as get 7 people.

I will keep the scoring and I am sure that Pokerguru can help me out verifying everything via cardplayer Live tracking from Wsop.

Karma has also Informed me that he can throw in some prizes as well.

So who ever is in let me know because we need to compile information by May 30th (First event)

Once I get the 10 teams we will have random draft and start the draft via the blogs.

I think I have my 8 players I'd like to pick already. Should be fun to see my players at several final tables throughout the WSOP.

I asked about how the picking will go in the other thread, but I was thinking about a different type of fantasy I think. For this, there won't be a draft where each poker player can only be selected once right? For instance, if everyone wanted to pick "Jerry Yang" :P they could right?

No. Once the player is picked no one else can draft that player. Just like fantasy football.

I've never participated in any fantasy leagues or pools so I'm looking forward to this. I guess I better get me team picked .

I haven't figured out the exact prizes I'm going to kick in yet for the point totals, but if anyone picks the actual name of the WSOP main event winner I will give them $250.

I am in.. How do we decide the draft order?

Ok... We are currently at 5 players. Remember this is a free league, however sidebets are encouraged. What I will do is send someone a list of people and someone else the numbers 1-10 and tell them to put that in a random order. Have each of them post it and then we will line it up for the order.

It will be a snake draft drafting 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,10,9 etc down

Spots are filling up quickly so please either post in here or personal message me quick to get on the list of people playing.

Nice of you to put up the $250 Jason. It will be tough to pick a winner, but I think I have it locked

I've played in some football, golf, hockey and baseball fantasy games and pools, but this will be a first for me in poker. I don't think I've ever seen a poker fantasy pool before. Has anyone done a poker fantasy before that you know of?

Awesome! This should be cool! I actually think that being in #10 might be a good spot considering you get to pick 2 of the first 11 picks. I'm sure you've seen how bad some first overall draft picks have done in all the sports at some point in time
