Worst Fold Ever?
The strangest thing happened today in a NLHE tournament. I'll just get to the point of it instead of posting the whole thing. It's just me and one other player left in this hand. It doesn't matter what we're holding because the board shows... 777 7 A He bets and just for the heck of it I go all in. HE FOLDS  I tried to get a response from him to find out what the heck but he didn't say anything. I could see an accidental fold here, but I don't think anyone that has bought into a tournament is not going to know what's in front of them and is going to fold on purpose would they? |

Yeah I almost always push if it's an obvious chop. You would be suprised at how many times the idiot on the other end of the hand doesn't realize it is a chop. It is a little different in cash games but if all the rake is already pulled in a big pot there is no reason not to.

Yeah, it's always worth it to take that stab because you have nothing to lose. Except, like you said in cash games if there is more rake to lose. I don't know how this guy missed something so obvious though. Usually I don't make a big deal out of bad plays by others, but this one is just wow! I'd love to see this happen in the WSOP. lol |

I've had this happen playing live also  4 of a kind on board with the ace, player bets I raise and someone behind folds. If you have the nuts you should always raise regardless of what others say or if they think you are wasting time. I have had players put in 10 or 11 bets with me without the nuts before. Jason

yea 10-20 is my normal game, on occasion i jump into a good 20-40 game in atlantic city. I play 1-2 and 2-5 nl if there on a weekday because the 10-20 and 20-40 game is too tough during week, but of course on saturday nights the pots get huge in the 10-20 and 20-40 games with hands i wouldnt even dream of calling a single bet with.

Yeah I am sure they will have some 1-100 spread limit game up there and of course all the limits right up to 50-100 limit. It would really be a great opportunity to grow my roll and make some real money playing poker. It is so hard when your only options are to either play online or some shady club where all they spread is no limit.
