| I would have to say I have a few favorite poker players. I like Phil Ivey's exceptional poker play. Daniel Negreanu is great at making some great poker reads. Stu Ungar is one of the legends of poker that many newbies to poker don't know about but all the poker pros think he is one of the greatest poker players of all time. Too bad his life was cut short. Who are your poker favorites? |

![]() | I think Daniel makes for some great TV, he carries himself well, is funny and witty, and at times can play extremeley well and read players well. His only fault is he gets carried away with gambling a little to much because he thinks he can outplay everyone. This is somewhat common with good players but can become a big trap for losing money. I really enjoy watching Phil Laak on GSN's High Stakes Poker also, he is a great player, who reads players well and does a lot of unusual stuff to keep his opponents guessing. I don't care for Hellmuth much, unless he is at my table ![]() Jason

| Daniel Negreanu is one of the best poker players around. He's in the top money winners. His play is usually solid and he makes uncanny reads. Players like Phil Hellmuth and Mike Matusow are funny to watch when they go on a tamtrum. They make for some very good TV, which is why we probably see them often. |
