Just thought since I have been a member for like a week now I thought I would make a post that might get some feed back. Just wondering where everyone plays and why they play there. Is it the promotions or the games or the tournaments. I have friends telling me where to play but I want a non biased oppinion. Thanks everyone.

Hej Tom I would say it depends a lot on whether you are seeking the pokerrooms with the soft spots and the fishes or if you seek the best room that offers you a great rakeback deal.

I recommend Pacific (888.com) its really filled with maniacs and fishes. If you can handle the swings. Youll make huge profit there if you can control your discipline and play tight.

I've played for a a year and half i started on pacific poker which was through 888 and enjoyed it, i tried poker stars but honestly didn't really like the interface so never gave it much time but hear ok things. Now I'm on party-poker and love it. It's surely my favorite.

I play at PokerStars. Why? Because it has a Stats-it shows of my current poker session or the entire history of you game. You can also see what percentage on your flops and even the percentage of showdowns when you win.

Personally I prefer some of the Medium sites. IMO, they offer much softer games and the Rakeback/Bonus's/Promo's are much better. Obviously, you need to do your homework and make sure that the Medium/Smaller sites are legit, but in most cases they are and if you properly do your homework then you should have nothing to worry about. Example: RPM on the Merge Network is one of my favorite sites. Great bonus/promos and the games are pretty soft. Merge hasn't had any scandals and their is enough traffic to play multi-tables.
