Simple question, what is your style of poker? Or do you change depending on the game, stakes, etc? I play tight-aggressive most of the time, when I'm not that means I have lost focus of my game and I probably come too loose which results me in playing too many hands. Tight-aggressive poker means you are selective about the hands you play (in other words, play "tight"). Then when you play a hand you be aggressive.

![]() | I have a rather unusual style for a profesional. I'm actually more of a Loose Aggressive type. I play pretty well after the flop, read players extremely well, and generally know when I have the best hand and value bet my hands a lot. I'd agree with Naz, that most players would be much better suited to adapt a "Tight Aggressive" type of game, choosing their starting hands carefully, but playing them strongly. The best players will change their style and adapt to different players, & different circumstances. Generally speaking, the looser the game, the tighter you should play and the tighter the games the looser & more aggressively you should play. Jason

I like to switch up my poker game during the course of a tournament or session at the cash tables. My style will depend on the style of the players I'm up against. If there is an overly aggressive player I'll set up a trap of some kind. If there are very tight players, I'll bluff a bit more.

My poker style can be considered tight aggressive I would say. I like to be aggressive but I don't like to take too many chances unless I have to. I like to be agressive in tournaments to build up a chip stack early and play tighter as we get close to the money. Going back to aggressive play once in the money.

I play loose-aggressive when I'm shortstack or average stack. When I'm chip leader, I play tight-aggressive. I can play very loose in late position, sometimes I won't even care about what I'm holding, and be more concerned with what the others are holding and wether I can get them to fold.
