Updated: 05/30/2009 - updated a few rooms that have moved network and added some addtional rooms outside of the top 10 as requested by a few members.

Here is the list of the top 10 Online Poker Sites & Poker Networks based on Volume of Real Money Players:

Poker Stars - By far the biggest poker site in the world right now with over twice as many games as Full Tilt.
Full Tilt Poker - Very popular site endorsed by many big name pro's
Titan Poker (No US Players) - Flagship site of the Ipoker Network with shared traffic from over 60 poker sites including sites like:
Party Poker (No US Players) - once the world's largest site, the games are still very good even though the traffic has slipped some.
Bwin - Bet & Win (No US Players) - part of the Ongame Network with lots of shared traffic from over 30 poker sites including sites like:
Everest Poker (No US Players) - great standalone network with software in many different foreign languages.
Cereus network **
Microgaming
Celeb Poker (No US Players) - part of the IPN (Boss Media) Network, some of the other well known sites on the Boss Network are:
Cake Poker - Flagship site of the Cake Poker Network which shares players from over twenty different sites like:

** Poker Strategy Forums can't recommend either of the sites on The Cereus Network ( UltimateBet and Absolute Poker ) due to recent security issues.

Thanks for the listing. I was just about to post a question asking which the best online poker sites are to check out because I've only tried PartyPoker and wanted to see if there were better ones out there to give a shot at.

I play exclusively at full tilt and poker stars. There really is no other reason for me to play elsewhere anymore. I enjoy the amount of players at both sites and the tournaments are pretty good.

I played at Poker Stars before. Yes, definably a lot of competition from that site. I do not do well their, but maybe it is because I need to learn to develop my skills better.

Love to play in cake and bodog, in cake it is fun to get gold chips and gold cards which I use to enter tourneys.. love it!

They are on the "OnGameNetwork" which consists of about 30 rooms who share traffic, so technically speaking, Chan Poker isn't that big but there is a high volume of traffic at that site due to sharing players with other poker sites on the network.

Hope that made sense, instead of promoting multiple different sites on the ONGame Network I chose Chan Poker because they have great player promotions and customer service.

I started out on Pokerroom and loved it. Your average 5$ multi would have 500 people compared to pokerstars 4000 people. It wouldnt take as long to end some of these tournies.

okay now that you say poker room I get it. I have played on every site there except cake. I know, I can get rakeback everywhere, but they just don't spread what I play (Triple Draw, HORSE).
