| Recently moved to Stars and have a few questions for the Stars regs at this forum. 1) The bet slider. Is there a way to bet the pot or half-pot? Seems I can only drag the slider or click it in increments of 1 bb. Gets annoying sometimes. I'm sure there's an option to change it I just don't know how. At Full Tilt the slider was totally customizable. 2) The PTR.com buddy list thing. Apparently you can add buddies on PTR and they will translate somehow into your Stars lobby. A little more detailed instruction on how to do this would be nice :) 3) Can we click on a table at the lobby and auto-sit-down at the table? The number of times I've I've opened a 8-handed table and someone else sat down in the last seat before I could click on the 'seat empty' icon is crazy! 4) bonus clearing: at FTP I was clearing the $7.50 installment of my bonus about once a week. I've been playing at Stars for 5 days and only cleared one third of $10. Anyone else notice this? Or am I just not playing enough ;) Anyway generally I like Stars. I would have to say there are more fish at FTP, and Stars seems to have quite a lot of semi-decent TAGs and a lot of nits. But saying that, there are far fewer shortstacks!!! (FTP is plagued with them). Nits I can deal with , and TAGs I know how they play so I can play back at them. As long as there are enough fish for all of us, I'm happy :) |

| | 1) Get tableninja. It was $25 when I bought it. Not sure if its more now but they do have a trial version. It can take care of all your bet sizing woes so that will never deal with the slider again. 2) I've never heard of the ptr buddy list integrating with the stars lobby. I have an article about ptr on my site on how I use the buddy list tool in conjunction with the stars color coding system. In the buddy list you can see who is online and what tables they are sitting at. The color coding of players is visible in the stars lobbby in the individual list of players for each table. 3) Tableninja ftw 4) Deposit bonus is cleared based on vpp accrual. Go to FPP PRO.com -- Home to an Explanation of Pokerstars' VIP Program (Rakeback) to check the rates for vpp per hand for the stakes and format that you are playing and then should be able to figure out how many hands you or hours you will need to play per increment of bonus. You'll get $10 stellar rewards bonuses all year long too for different vip milestones too which only cost 1fpp to purchase. All the while you will be accumulating fpp points which I reccommend you use to register in the 210fpp satellites and then unregister to the event to get the T$ into your account. You can then sell the T$ at different sites or keep them to register in donkaments. Posted via Mobile Device |

| | yea no bet pot or allin button stinks they need to make it easy for the fish to ship it. i just got ninja $65. before that i used a program that was similar called poker shortcuts.:WHT Poker Shortcuts Description =free. there are also real good AHK scrips that do just certian little things that you want. also a side not i came across this table scanner its similar to what PT3 or HEM has i have not used it much but looks good if you have a big data base in your tracker.:free http://www.tablescanturbo.com/ |

| | My bad for TableNinja costing more now. When I first purchased it a year ago, I emailed the developer, Alex, and told him I was so happy with the program and that it paid for itself in the first session I used it and told him he was crazy for not charging more. So sorry for you guys buying it late. Thats a few more 10NL buyins :( I tried tablescanner turbo and couldn't get it to work right so I gave up on it. If anybody knows of a program/script that can auto color code players according to criteria in PT3/HEM I would pay money for that. I'm trying to go through my DB and color code players manually but there's so many and its a never ending process.

| | i seen a guy that set up some hot keys for certain buttons for holdem manager with AHK, but it was nothing like what your talking about. i will ask around for you. here is a link to how that turbo scanner looks when running. you tube is were i found it. my data base is not that big but it tells me were the guy in my data base that has lost the most $ is seated at. it color codes players by certain ratings that you give stats. you have PT3 right. most the programers i have come acros are HEM fans. : mb2k this might be ready in a week, but he said that last week too. it will be the greatest thing since i saw titys. ![]() By syracuse44 at 2010-01-06 also a little program i was messing with. . ![]() By syracuse44 at 2010-01-06 |

| | That table opener looks pretty good for somebody like me playing 24 tables to get sessions started quicker. If your playing less than 10 tables though, definitely get table ninja. Once you open the table, table ninja automatically seats, and buys you in.

| Cool, thanks for the info guys. Don't think I'll shell out the 65 for tableninja just yet, although it's definately something I'll look at in the future. The other programs look good too syracuse44, def let me know when the guy finishes coding it! I do have another question; where can I get FREE skins and custom cards for stars? Everywhere I look they seem to cost money. What I want is basic red/blue/green/grey cards with big white lettering and an uncomplicated table skin (blue table/black background or similar) to make multitabling easier.. but i don't wanna pay for them! |

| | i cant recall were i found the table i use. but i came across a refrence in grinder schools forum for a table GrinderSchool.com code is "teacher" it was free and in a open forum, so its not just for members. i dont use it so i dont know how good it is. as for a deck there is a free one at bottom of page again i dont use it. PSThemes.com - Card Mods if you try them let me know how they are. there are two at bottom of this page that work with table ninja you can change the back ground color. i didnt like them the notes color get covered up.
