Poker Forums

I'm pretty happy with the progress of the forum but we need to get some more quality members. We've done a good job of avoiding trolls and most of the spammers and I'm really happy with the quality of posts and discussions. Members are open to others ideas and suggestions, and nobody makes posts saying there is only one right answer. I'm sure we all know one or two people that like poker, so lets get them signed up at Poker Strategy Forums and get some more quality members.

Here are the details of the Referral Contest

Refer two quality members to Poker Strategy Forums and I will mail you a copy of "Professional Poker - The essential Guide to Playing for a Living" by Mark Blade. I've got about 20 copies sitting on my desk ready to be sent by Priority Mail



Rules:

• Quality of Members will be determined by GoodKarmaKid
• Books can only be mailed to the US & Canada because shipping overseas would be cost prohibitive. My apologies to our foreign members, I may entertain the idea of drop shipments from Amazon.uk or ??(post an online bookstore in this thread, if your from non-us country and I will entertain the idea if it doesn't cost a fortune.
• Limited to first 20 Members who refer 2 Quality Members. I may choose to continue the contest but I will give away 20 books for sure.

The easiest way to refer a friend to Poker Strategy Forums is:

• Click on "Quick Links", In the first section, the click the last selection "Invite your friends". you will be taken to the invitation system in the "User Control Panel"
• Enter your friends email, and any custom message you want to send and that's it. Any referrals will automatically be tracked to your account.

I actually just sent a few invites. I sent 3 to known good posters from other sites, lets see if they want to post on another forum.

I still have a couple of books left to give away. All it takes is to refer two members to Poker Strategy Forums and you will get a free copy of the book(including shipping to US/Canada).

There is a custom referral invitation system at the top of the Users Control Panel or you can also just use the referral link which is located at the top of the Control Panel

Awesome idea man - I wish I knew other poker players.

Just sent 5 invites to friends of mine! Unfortunately, only 2 of them are any good so it will be interesting to see how active they are on the forum. I suggested they do a lot of initial reading and if nothing else, post hand histories of their own and wait for input.
With the exception of the 2, they're pretty green but are all willing to learn and i spoke highly of this forum so don't let me down PSF!!

Still got any left? I know a couple people who would like this place, I think :)

Ok, I will contact a few people using your method and hope to score a book.
