| Anybody have any experience or comments about PXF? I'm sort of in a doldrums SNG wise and I want to take my game to the next level. The money doesn't necessarily make sense in relation to my bankroll and the levels I play at, but I've heard great things and think that a sub to this site could pay for itself. Wanted some opinions. Also, do they ever run specials or offer discounted prices? |

| I don't know anything about specials but I have heard great things. I have also seen that it can get pretty expensive. It is really up to you but personally I have never heard anythign bad about the site, other than the prices.

![]() | Hey SJ I'm a sub and enjoy the vids - more from an MTT perspective these days - the SNG vids will teach you the standard 'super tight early - pushbot late' routine, many people have come along thinking they can beat this system... lets be honest over any decent sample these guys will crush the pretenders! (talking 2000+ SNGs here) If you are in the doldrums SNG wise I honestly think your first step should be the 30 day free trial of SNG Wiz... put your HH's through and get to know ICM it pays over time! (non affiliated link = The SitNGo Wizard - Home) , Colin Moshaman goes through it nicely in his book... but it is pretty much the 2+2 robot method. SNG play can be brutal at times - just when you thought it was not possible to have any more beats then tons more come along... just trust me here - if you play solid 'mathematically correct' poker you will win over time. As for PxF - its not much money in the scheme of things... if you can afford the outlay it will pay for itself fairly fast... if not there are always the fantastic SNG articles at SNG Planet !! GL at those brutal SNG Tables, Mark |

| So I went ahead and plunked down the money for PXF before I could talk myself out of it. I've watched the first few SNG vids and have been trying to apply the strategies to a T just to see what result I would get. So far it's been bad beat central. Seriously, more brutal than I could imagine. I've been getting my money in good, though, and the times I got it in bad in retrospect I wasn't making the best play to begin with. My God, though, QQ beat by QJ, AA beat by KJ, AK beat by AQ, even QT beat by Q3! The last three days have been probably the worst string of luck since I started playing online. I guess if I keep getting it in good I'll profit long term, but man those beats sting. |
