Stars doesn't offer reload bonuses to often so if you plan on playing on PokerStars anytime soon, its probably worth depositing and taking advantage of the bonus up to $150.

Here are the exact details from the email I just received:

The New Year is here and we're celebrating in style by bringing you a 25% up to $150 Reload Bonus! Make a deposit between 09:00 ET on January 1 and 23:59 ET on January 10 using the code '2010' and the bonus will automatically be applied to your account. You then have 60 days to make up to 2 additional deposits to take advantage of the full bonus.

To clear the bonus, you must earn the required number of VPPs which can be found under the "Check My Bonus Status" section of the 'Cashier' in your PokerStars lobby. As part of the many VIP Changes we've introduced for 2010, you will now earn VPPs at a quicker rate so you can unlock your bonus quicker! If you have a Euro currency PokerStars account, you can get a 25% up to €100 bonus by depositing using the code '2010' between 09:00 ET on January 1 and 23:59 ET on January 10.

Also, it's worth noting that you can take advantage of the offer in 3 installments, the initial deposit and up to 2 additional deposits. I think this is pretty cool, especially for lower limit players who probably can't deposit the entire $600 to get the max bonus.

Always nice to see these, I especially like how Stars allows their infrequent reloads to be taken advantage of when convenient, rather than NOW like some other sites.

Stars also allows you to break the deposit up into 3 chunks too as long as you don't withdraw before clearing the bonus.

haha. wish i could take advantage. but i am still clearing my first deposit bonus.
haven been playing much at micros so kinda hard to clear too.
if only i had more time to dedicate to poker.
