Poker After Dark

Did anyone catch Poker After Dark last night?

This weeks episodes have Gus Hansen vs the poker babes - Clonie Gowan, Erica Schoenberg, Vanessa Rouso, Beth Shak, and JJ Lui.

I haven't seen this before so this isn't a repeat is it?

I wouldn't mind being in Gus' position.

Gus didn't play the normal Gus Hansen way. It seems he's playing tighter against the ladies. At least in the first day of the week he did.

Clonie Gowen is by far the most overrated player that gets tv time out there rite now. I have never seen her win anything or make it to a final table of anything outside special invite tournies in which she is usually the first one eliminated.
Atleast he others on this list can play a little.

She is considered a bit of a joke amongst poker pros, for just that reason. She fits a nice player demographic. Middle aged, Married, and a mother who is somewhat attrractive. Makes for good balance in commericials, tournaments, etc.

I think Clonie is in the chip lead or she was at some point last night. It seems her and Gus are doing a bit of flirting together. The poker play was a bit strange, although I'm not really sure if I was watching the show for the poker...LOL

I think the fact Clonie annoys me I take into account too much. Her table talk may be one of the annoying I have heard. The only events she has ever done well in are these invite events with like 1 table. I could not tell you the last legit final table she made or won of a huge field.

It was more of Clonie batting her eyelashes at Gus and I felt like saying get a room.

I'm not sure if Erica has said anything the whole show, but she sure looks sweet. David is a lucky guy.

There was a lot of all in action from last nights show.

Gus suck out on a couple of hands including a hand that had 4 Jacks on the board, with the last one coming on the river, and he was holding the Ace kicker to win the pot.

Vannesa Rouso ended up going heads up with Clonie Gowan. Rouso had a nice chip lead at this point and they went back and forth "All-In" picking up the blinds before Rouso finally won it.
