| How many people in here prefer online poker over Face to face poker and why. I prefer Online Poker, because I can bluff easier in this game. In fact online bluffing is easier than Face to face. |

![]() | Can certainly see your argument Cassie - when playing online you can shout 'FOOOOLLLDDDDDDDDD!!!' at the top of your voice when bluffing too... have found this can be a bit of a 'tell' when playing live! I like the speed of online poker, especially with several tables / games going on... the social aspect of the live game is a positive there though. Cheers, Mark |

![]() | I actually think my edge is better playing live. I seem to be especially good at reading players, and basic profiling of their playing style live. I also have a very aggressive poker style and it is easier for me to control the action in live play. I lose a lot of my player reading skills playing online, and I lose some of the aggressiveness and control factor. My theortical edge or win rate goes down on a per hand basis, but actually goes up on an hourly basis playing online due to some factors which include:
I will also write a lengthy (and most likely contoversial) post about tipping sometime in the future. Jason

| I do prefer online better than live. I hate bad beat stories, and usually they are the first thing people sit down and tell. I enjoy the speed of online poker, live poker just bores me sometimes with how slow it can be. I tend to make more mistakes live due to this boredom.

| I think face to face is better for me. I agree with GoodKarmaKid that it is hard to read people online. In rl (face to face) you can read people's expressions and pick up on how they play better. |

| I play online waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I do live, but I enjoy playing live waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I do playing online. It's just a better feeling sitting at the tables, staring down your opponents, shuffling your chips. |
