I love to have the radio playing for me when I am playing on line poker this site is just great for having it playing in the background no fussing around clicking here and there. Keep up the work. Oh my friend just posted this to me try it on your yahoo and skype. ( mooning ). Take out the spaces on either side of the brackets and get this.

I must admit that I have not yet tried the radio stations as I have a whole library of MP3's on my laptop that I listen too when I play but I have been watching a bunch of the HSP episodes that PokerDawg posted! I will definetly try a station sometime.

I am not big on music when i play. If i have 1 or 2 tables up I tend to be cleaning. This keeps me from getting too involved early on in the boring parts of tournies.

Now that my girlfriend has a laptop I've been doing a lot of poker multitasking. Now I can be anywhere in the house doing whatever during a tournament. I agree, it keeps me from getting too involved early in tourneys. I miss out on reads but I can live with that during the first hour or so.

The first hour is just watching players commit suicide. Your right. The tournament does not start until the 2nd hour anyway for me. Usually once i get past the first hour i am going deep.

Except in the 90 man KOs on Full Tilt, there you have to play the first five hands or so because that's when the donkeys are slinging chips all over the place, trying to "double up early". If you hit two pair or better during the first round of these you can usually get somebody to stack off with top pair/virtually any kicker!

It's funny because I like listening to music while I play online sometimes, but I never listen to it during live poker (unless it's at a home game with some music playing in the background). I'm not sure why that is though. Perhaps I am more into paying attention to the players live and online I just need to watch the betting patterns.

I have actually been expieramenting with using my MP3 player at the table. I have always been the talkative one and always believed that if I am wearing headphones I may miss out on something one of my opponents said but I decided to try it out. Played a tourney on April 6th (last time I played live since the baby) and took it down ear buds and all. I like music when playing online but live it is a new thing for mr.

They have a show they put on like 3 or 4 times a week where they only have poker talk. When the guys are not on doing poker talk it is just regular music.
