| I personally am not the biggest fan of hold em and I am a mixed game player but I must say of all of the "other games" PL Omaha is easily my weakest. I play a lot of limit poker, all of the games, and I can hold my own at the Omaha table but I am by no means one to be giving advice or I would! |

![]() | Pot Limit Omaha is incredibly popular in Europe and is also played frequently on the tournament circuit. It's a big action game. I'm not much of an expert at Pot Limit Omaha either, but I do know that it is a game that you want to flop the nut draws and not the nuts. Hopefully we'll get some pot limit omaha players to add to the discussion. Jason

![]() | I love PLO... its a 'big pot' game that turns your poker assumptions on upside-down... couple of tasters - The 'big draw' can be more than a 2/1 favourite against a made hand on the flop - With 4 cards it is harder to 'put an opponent on a hand'... however with experience you can work out which hand opponents do not have! - Omaha is a post flop game, however opponents who raise pre-flop in such a way to 'give away' their hand are at a disadvantage so big that they are unlikely to recover. In PLO, bet sizing, position and positive aggressive poker still rule... a great game: You can check out my Omaha site for a few more, this one is aimed at beginners: Omaha Planet | Best Omaha Poker Sites | Best Omaha Bonuses | Omaha Poker Strategy Cheers, Mark |

| I don't see Omaha, or any of the other poker variations, over taking the popularity of NLHE anytime soon. As for Omaha tips, I'm not at the stage of my game where I can offer many useful tips. Props to Mark for coming to the rescue with the tips! |
