| What's your biggest win in a poker tournament? I'm not breaking my way into any record books but I'm happy my biggest tournament win is a first prize that paid almost $3500 Feel free to post your biggest win. I don't mind if you make mine look like chicken feed. |

![]() | I finished 6th on one of the Party Poker Weekend tournaments with around 2000 players, it paid $16,000. I should really play more of these weekend tournaments. There is a lot of "dead money" (people that can't play). The biggest weekend tourneys are atBodog's weekend tournament has just started to pick up also. If you haven't booked any tournament wins, this weekend is your chance, Poker Strategy Forums and it's Partners are throwing a $5 entry, with $250 added Poker Tourney, check out this post for full details.

| Nice payday GoodKarmaKid! You're right about the weekends. There are a lot more players and many of them are not at the top of their game. If you only played once a week, playing on the weekend would be ideal. |

| I have won the 01:59 $69+6 mtt on ftp twice (first time for about 3500 and last time for about 5k). Last week I won the FTP bronze freeroll and took 4th in the Sunday night $200 buyin horse tourney. I was lucky in the freeroll tourney in that there was only 3 of us at my initial 9top table that were actually there playing. This made for easy blind steals (especially after doubling up early vs. one of the others playing KK>JJ). I pounded on the blinds of those not actually playing and religiously restole from those that were playing when they tried to get free blinds through me (often by overshoving allin pre when they came in with a raise) because I easily had them covered after the early double. They could not correctly call against the shove without having KK or AA (QQ would be marginal). Then when some of the people at the table who were just blinding off by not showing for the tourney started getting short. I would fold from cutoff, button and small blind enough to keep them with some chips to avoid others actually playing getting moved to my table. All for now. |

![]() | More great strategy from JD. I especially like the part about leaving the dead players in action with a few chips to keep live players from being sat. Well done again. If you want to learn more about tournaments read JD's tips, he is giving some great advice. ![]() Jason

| My biggest poker win was at a Foxwoods Classic 7 Stud event. I finished second to my now good buddy, Greg "fossilman" Raymer. We actually chopped the prize pool with him getting $23k and my part being $20k. vinpoker |
