![]() | This topic came up in another thread about What Stakes do you find that there are fewer amateurs. Here is an example of a couple hands that players called two bets cold with in a 30-60 limit hold'em game yesterday at the Bellagio 7-8 offsuit Middle position 9-10 offsuit Middle Position 6-2 diamonds Under the Gun Q-4 Hearts called 3 bets out of small blind These are just the hands that went to showdown that I was able to see, I'm sure there were plenty more. The point of the post is that there are bad players at all levels, contrary to the thinking of some people who think only good players play higher limits. I"m off to the Bellagio for a Sunday afternoon session. I'll try to post a couple key hands from my session when I get home. Jason

| Yeah, you can find bad players in all limits. Sometimes it seems they are just playing anything thinking they'll eventually win a hand. Basically playing the slot machines but at the poker table. I do notice though that sometimes even the good players that play high stakes sometimes make "bad player" type decisions. |

| If you think about it good players sometimes makes bad decisions because it always boil down to one question---"what if?" In the end the probability is always 50:50. |

| I feel the worse players at high level limit play the short handed table. This level is played with complete agression and not much reguard for slowing down. Watch the 100-200 short handed limit table sometime and these pots get monsterous compared to the No -Limit, Raise preflop and continuation bet takes down the pot strategy.
