| So I was wondering if there are any online poker sites you have had bad experiences with? Have you always gotten paid your winnings? Or have you had any other problems with a certain site? Thanks. |

![]() | The vast majority of all online poker sites are very reputable and you should not have any issues with them. There is just too much money involved, for them to the players. ![]() Having said that, there have been some issues at very small sites with slow payments, etc. If you stick with the Poker Sites for US Players we recommend or the Top 10 Poker Sites (which include non-USA rooms) I seriously doubt you will ever have an issue. | Thanks, I have to ask though is there some kind of watchdog perse for online gambling sites? I hope that question makes sense. I have really only ever played on a few sites and have had no problems. |

![]() | Yeah, there are a couple of organizations that keep an eye on poker sites. ![]() You actually bring up a good point in why poker should be regulated and not pushed aside and ignored by the government. If online poker rooms were regulated and taxed there would be even fewer problems, and it would offer an additional layer of credibility with customers. Over 75 million Americans play poker, I can't even begin to figure out what the worldwide number is. Jason

| I have only stuck with the bigger poker rooms and have never had any problems with them. I have always been reluctant to use credit cards online and I can only deal with poker rooms that are established. I have read a couple stories where people have lost some funds because a poker room has shut down. I can't recall the names of the poker rooms off hand. Perhaps someone else here can recall the ones I'm talking about. |

| That would be just awful to have a site close down and you lose your funds. Just curious do you know the names of the organizations that watch the sites? Just curious, thanks. |

| I've gotten all my withdraws from Full Tilt without a problem. They are the 2nd biggest poker site and they are not going anywhere. But their support responses can be a bit slow. |

| I like the big poker rooms like PokerStars and Full Tilt which I have never had any problems at. There are probably some pretty good smaller poker rooms but I just don't have the trust in them as I do the big poker rooms. I have never had any problems with poker rooms and I think it's because I stick with the popular, established sites. |

| Thanks for the names. I know that when I played online a lot I would tend to stick with the well known places also. With the new law in the states I have backed off of playing online. But now that I see there is a way to still play online I hope to start playing more. |
