2008 WSOP Main Event - Entrants and Prize Pool
The 2008 WSOP Main Event had 6,844 players enter the big tournament, which some refer to as "Donkament". That is more than the 6358 that entered last year, but way off the record 8773 from 2006. $64.3 million is the total prize pool with the top prize being $9.12 million this year. A total of 666 players will get a piece of the prize money, with the final table of 9 fighting it out November 9th and 10th. |
