I have never been to Foxwood's in CT. I will have to add this to my growing list of places to visit. Sounds like a great place. Did you do any good the last time you were their?

I was happy with what I did. I played in a 3 step qualifier for the WPT New England Poker Championship. I won step 1 and 2 step 3 then was a 180 person 560$ tourny to get into the 5k main event. The top 6 got in i finished 12th. I was only 21 at the time so it was a nice boost considering there were some good players in this tourny. The hands i went out on i would not go out on now so it was for the better i learned my lesson

I just met a guy who said there's absolutely nothing to do in Vegas. Are you kidding me? Can you believe this guy? Vegas is the last place to be bored in, right?

wow, here is a really short non gambling list:
  • Major theater shows like all of the circue de soleil shows
  • Broadway musicals
  • Concerts
  • Comedy Shows
  • World Class restaurants
  • Night Clubs (if thats your scene)
  • Red Rock Canyon
  • Mt Charleston
  • Lake Mead (boating and jet skiing)
  • Valley of Fire
About the only thing that is missing from Vegas is the ocean.

What planet is this guy from?

I have never heard anyone that has been to Vegas say there is nothing to do. Even people that don't gamble that I know have enjoyed seeing Vegas. There is just so many shows alone to see and the sights to see are just awesome.

Yeah I mean the last time I went with my girlfriend and she's not a gambler, but we had plenty of fun. I couldn't believe that guy.

I like Vegas but really tend to stay a way in June and August. To hot for me but there are not as many people from what I have heard.

Foxwoods! Ya know, that's the third time (at least) I've heard of that place in a few months and I even remember looking it up online.

You're right, it sounds like an awesome place and since it's a resort, it would be a total vacation package, too. I've heard that the Mashantuckets truly know how to take care of their guests.
