Default Re: Recommendations for Good DVD?

Well a low cut blouse would not help me in the least. lol. As for DVD's I have not bought any and never thought about it. But with all the tournaments on TV nowadays I just feel I learn the most by watching the pros. at work.

You can also check out the poker video section in this forum. I saw a few good videos posted with poker basics, poker tips, etc. It won't cost you anything even if you don't like the video. You can look around until you find the videos you like. Maybe others can post some of the better videos they have found on YouTube too.

I thought Phil Gordon's DVD was pretty good for an beginner's introduction to tournament poker. Good production value and fairly entertaining. My live play is limited to home games but Mike Caro's video on tells is very good and detailed, even through his voice is kind of awful.

I found a copy of the 2006 WSOP live PPV telecast. No hole cards since it was a live broadcast. It's quite long, but it's helpful to watch the players without knowing the hole cards to try to figure how you might play things. Plus it shows all the hands at the final table, not just the all-in hands.
