Default Most profitable very small micro stack games

I've been playing $2.20 180 turbo SnG with decent results but am starting to think that at this level there would be more profitable games out there. It seems to be profitable at these games one must play tight early, then go into push/fold mode and use fold equity to take down the tournament(such as when you can increase your stack by 20% or so) However, players at these levels are fairly prone to call an all-in and I've been thinking maybe it would be more profitable to play non-turbo 9 SnG/ double or nothing, since I can be extremely tight and let others bust each other out and I can just ride my starting stack to 4th/6th place and take it from there. I'm not sure if it will be that easy though but that was the general idea, or maybe even cash games, but I don't really want to venture into cash games as I think it may put of my live tournament game.

When I first started out I had a very limited bank roll as it came from me winning a free roll; I started playing 360 person 10c games; they had no rake, the players were terrible so I would have had a huge ROI% However, the prize pool is so small. I tried to do 16 games at one time but found it too difficult to manage

Just ensure that the average pot is quite huge, considering for above 40 cents at $0.01/$0.02 blind game tables is good this will indicates a loose play preflop. Moreover, you must look a table greater than 40% because with less than 40% flop there are already solid/tight poker players there.

Default Re:CASH GAMES VS TOURN.

I have been working at the revel casino project in atlantic city for the past 3 years, and live across the street from the trop. at the ritz. I got into tourn. play and avg. about three games a week. Lately i've been trying my hand at cash games. what is the biggest difference in strategy between the two, and is it gtood to play both on a weekly basis? i would consider myself an intermediate player at this time.

I didn't reply to this at the time because it was a question that could have been answer by googling it.... However, I'm not in such a jerkish mood anymore so I'll attempt to answer. Basically, in cash games it's all about odds of winning, and playing a tight conservative game is the optimal style under most conditions. I wouldn't reconmended playing them both as they confused me when I started of; I'd review my cash game hands, which I was a loosing player at, and realise that what I did was a perfectly good play, in a tournament. Playing both games will probably be confusing because the situations look the same but must be played differently

This is totally wrong, except at micro-stakes where ESAP. As soon as you get to a level where most of the table is actually thinking and hand reading, tight conservative is a disaster because you are playing most of your hands face up.

For micro stakes on FT. The 90 man double stack that is only 1.10 total buy in.There are lots of risk especially the bad beats, but because it is a reg blind speed double stack, you can be patient until you hit a set or your suited connectors flop the flush or straight to put in a large portion of your stack.
