Default Re: MTT play w/ AA... help

and yet another question!

Suppose the correct action is to raise, calling is not an option.....

If my raise represents a percentage of my stack that commits me to any RR I may encounter (pot stuck), isn't it correct to just shove my stack in each of these situations regardless of strength of my holdings?

If i follow this action in each case, it will be impossible to put me on a hand

I like Jedi's 1500 to go. I don't want to go all in and force somebody to have a quality hand to play, I want to put in just enough chips that somebody might think I could possibly fold if they push, and leave that possibility open. I am going to get all the short stack's chips in the pot no matter what I do, so I basically ignore him and zero in on what work to take off somebody else.

I hope all 4 of us get all in before the flop!

Well believe it or not, that hand ended up with the UTG+1 limper, folding preflop and leaving himself 1k

I went on to finish 11th out of 221 in that tourney. It took me over 2 hrs to get there and I was only a few spots away from actually making a worthwhile hourly rate. lame.

200/400 50 ante, I'm on the button

UTG (8300) fold
UTG+1 (1555) limp 400
EP1 (21k) fold
M1 (5400) fold
CO (10k) fold
ME (9k) AA.......what do i do??
Sb (4300)
BB (3800)

Both the blinds are super tight, but at least the SB would complete the blind if i were to just limp.

I shoved AI b/c i did not want to play this pot 4ways and I didn't see much value in raising to like 2k (forcing the limper AI) but then obviously committed if either blind comes over the top.

I think this is an obvious correct move if I had no read on the blinds, but since I know they're mice, how do you suggest i play it to get some of their chips?

Another reason i pushed was b/c if i had any vulnerable hand outside AA, i'd have pushed in a second. In fact, i'd pushed in a scenario like this earlier w/ either AK or an underpair and won, but unfortunately i dont remember if it was a showdown or not.
Raise him all in ?
