| I am an amateur player, living in Vancouver, Canada, enjoying both online and live play. I primarily play NL Holdem tournaments but a year ago I started a serious learning curv for Pot Limit Omaha, and I play at medium stakes ($1/$2 & $2/$4) on FullTiltPoker. I played online in the early days of PartyPoker and it is a serious hobby for me, with recently some great successes. That always helps ... For you numbers players out there, my highest cash is $16,000 ... don't scuff your knees, it is nothing special in reality. I actually like forums where it is friendly and all about poker. I enjoy poker for the play and am constantly trying to improve. Also, I have met some great people, have a really wierd sense of humour, and am aware that when I post, I *will* make mistakes. I am willing to get it wrong sometimes in order to improve. My motto is "The lucky player is usually the player that knows how much to leave to chance." Looking forward to posting! |

![]() | Hi Flint Welcome to Poker Strategy Forums. I love Vancouver, I was there in November and I grew up in Mt. Vernon, Washington around an hour away. Spent many Friday/Saturday nights there in my late teens because of the nice 18 year old drinking age with entertainment. Is the Vancouver Casino scene still crazy? A couple years ago when I was there the game at the Holiday Inn on Broadway was serious no foldem holdem ![]() I used to play at a small club in Burlington called the "Sports Keg" they don't have poker much anymore but I played with quite a few Canadians. Once Again, Welcome to PSF. Jason
