Charity Poker Event for: Adopt a Rescue Pet

I'm proud to announce that our first Charity Poker Event will go to the Adopt a Rescue Pet organization in Las Vegas. My good friend Terri Evanowski ( who is a high limit poker player at the Bellagio) is a huge dog lover and donates a lot of her time to this organization.

Unfortunately the organization is running low on funds so Terri has decided to reach out to the poker community to help keep this worthy charity operating.

I will post further details as they become available, but this is going to be a big event and many popular professionals will be participating.

The tournament is confirmed as $5 +$5 ( $5 to prize pool, $5 to the charity,no entrance fee courtesy of Full Tilt) tournament scheduled for Full Tilt Poker. Please mark your calendars for January, 24th at 3pm Pacific Time (6pm Eastern, etc). I've also added this charity event to the PSF Calendar

bump this, more comments needed for support. It's fashionable to do charity for children charities these days and forget others charities. I have an adorable 14 month old daughter who is my life, but I also have very strong feelings for (in UK) rspca and dogs trust who I donate to monthly. Animals go through a lot of suffering around the globe without enough laws to protect them....My heart goes out to the 1000's of volunteers for devote their lives to help 'the underdogs' and anyone that supports them - good job.

Calendar marked. Not that that means much as I am sure my Vista machine will crash at least twice between now and then and need a restore but marked nonetheless.

Hopefully my bankroll by then will be able to support my participation in this. If not well, it's for charity and to help dogs for that matter so I'll have to splurge some and get involved in this one.
