Poker Stars Double Or Nothing Sit-nGo's

Hello everyone...just signed up for this forum and really enjoy reading all the posts and studing the info that is here. I play on PokerStars and by no means consider myself a great player and I dont have a large BR. I play mostly $5.25 Heads Up sit-n-gos wiith 4 players, $6.60 6 Max Sit-n-go, and some .05/.10 No Limit Hold Em. I recently started playing some $5.40 Double Or Nothing tournaments and this is where my question comes in. I know this type of tournament is generally played tight and I am normally a tight player so in these tournament I am even tighter. I find myself folding some hands I would normally play just because I feel people are only playing premium hands and that is not always true of coarse. So what usually happens is I play extremly tight and once the blinds start going up I feel like I am forced to start playing hands I shouldnt. Can anyone tell me what their strategy is in these tournaments, that is if anyone plays them or even if they dont. In case people do not know what they are, its a 10 man tourney where 5 people double their buy-in.....thanks!!!!!1

Youve identified the problem with super-tight strategies in shallow stack tournaments... everyone knows to play super-tight pre-flop. If you dont want to be totally at the mercy of the deck, you have to refine your post flop game to take advantage of sit-n-go nutpeddlers that rarely play difficult post flop hands. That means keeping pots as small as possible pre-flop and playing in position, and learning the "tricks of the trade" for post-flop play.
