Re: Hello to the Forum!
Is the French Quarter on Disney property? If so, then you should take advantage of the ride pass bracelets which allow you to access a "quick line" entrance to the rides. If you booked for summer, sorry. It's very hot and the lines are long. But the experience will still last a lifetime. Also recommend Epcot in addition to the Magic Kingdom.
The other recommendation I would offer, especially if you have smaller children, is to arrive at the park early, leave the park for lunch (food is very expensive inside the park), go for a swim at the pool, take a nap, then go back to the park after an early dinner. Stay through the fireworks display and street parade. You won't be disappointed.
