Default Re: Poker Nights

Even if your friends have money, you sometimes feel bad about taking it.

I occasionally play with people at the Bellagio who I like and who I consider friends, and I just flat out tell them, you should change tables if you don't want to lose your money half kidding of course.

I have a friend whose name is "John Bond", he has written several poker books with "Roy Cooke". He has a great rule about playing with friends.
"If there are more than two people in the pot, play your hand however you feel best, check raise, bluff, go crazy, it doesn't matter. If we get heads-up, play your hand in a straightforward, direct manner."
I think this is a great approach, because it looks terrible when friends soft play each other and check hands down, really bad for the game.
