Default Re: Folding Aces?

This is a touchy topic,!!
alot of it has to do with your style of play, what part of the tourney you are in,
how close are you ITM,
I do agree that"what better time than with aces to gamble preflop". and heads up? lets battle.
But at the same time, you need know that if you start folding strong hands!, others will catch on to what you are doing, and make every decision a hard one for you.
I have folded ace's before preflop,& postflop for a couple of reason, the first one was,
#Target touneys--- safe stack, and very close to placement
#when I first started, placement meant more than winning to me, but if you think about it, all the small placement that I would get, one win could cover all their winnings, so I do play to win these days...
I think the real time to gamble is when the blinds are high, when blinds are low I play very tight.. and will dump some playable hands,I just believe that if I can make it to where the blinds and pots are bigger, I can choose when and where Im going to make my move..

If you do take the gamble, know that you did take the correct move.. win or lose, go with your gut!!

Cash table preflop NEVER....
